US imperialism has launched a colonialist attack that will bring nothing but slavery to the people of Venezuela!
The same US is the biggest supporter and protector of genocidal Israel, which is committing genocide against the Palestinian people in our region. The same US is the one that turned Syria into a wasteland and colonized it, bringing jihadist gangs to power and subjecting the Syrian people to slaughter. The same US is trying to disarm the resistance in Lebanon that is resisting genocidal Israel. The same US, together with Zionist Israel, is trying to use the justified anger of the Iranian people turn it to a tool against Iran, which is resisting its plans.
US imperialism is a proven killer of peoples: along with other imperialists and collaborators in NATO, it is concerned with maintaining the system of looting and plunder in the world under the leadership of the capitalist imperialist system.
Bolivarian Venezuela, led by Commander Chavez, has shown the peoples of Latin America that it is possible to resist US imperialism. That is why it is a target. It has been so since the failed coup attempt against Chávez in 2002.
During the Obama administration, with its black exterior and white interior, Bolivarian Venezuela, declared an “extraordinary threat,” had been struggling to survive under embargo ever since. With Trump, the disinformation campaign, built entirely on lies, turned into an open confession: “Chavez kicked out our companies, stole our oil, we will take it back.”
This attack is the final stage of decades of US imperialist aggression and siege policies, carried out by both Democrats and Republicans. It is an attempt to return Bolivarian Venezuela to the pre-Chavez era, to turn it into a playground for US monopolies, to enslave Venezuela’s poor workers, just as they were before Chavez, and to drown them in darkness.
Just as Venezuela’s poor workers repelled the coup against Commander Chávez in 2002, just as they resisted the “civil coups” and the collaborators who sought to hand over the country to US imperialism, they will resist this latest attack.
Venezuela will not surrender its country and its future to the collaborators, puppets of US imperialism, who have received the Nobel Peace Prize and called for the occupation by the US and genocidal Israel.
Despite all the troubles they have experienced as a result of the siege in the Bolivarian march initiated by Chavez, the poor working people and revolutionaries of Venezuela will repel this attack by US imperialism and continue to advance the Bolivarian Revolution beyond where Chavez brought it.
We stand with the people of Venezuela in their resistance against imperialism!
