Kenyan people have been resisting and fighting against their bourgeois state for weeks that impoverished them and tried to increase their misery with the 2024 Finance Bill it introduced in May. The Bill sought to heavily increase taxes on the already impoverished Kenyan people, which served as a trigger that united students, workers, and many parts of society against the government.
The IMF and the World Bank is behind the proposed measures, and through them, U.S. imperialism is the true master of the Kenyan government. Just as the bourgeois government in Turkey is ruled in collaboration with the imperialists, Kenyan people are subject the exploitation and oppression of collaborators of imperialists who kill, abduct, injure, torture their own people to secure profits for their masters. The same economic programs enforced on the Kenyan people are being enforced on the worker-laborers, peoples in the geography of Anatolia. Similar sets of taxes against the interests of the people, worker-laborers, tax cuts for corporations and plunder and rent policies that give international corporations free rein to exploit the land, natural resources, and workers of our geography are enforced.
In all continents across the world, things that peoples are facing are the same and the wave of uprisings does not end. We salute with fervor the poor people, workers, students, women, doctors, farmers, in short, all those who live by their labor, who give voice to this wave of uprising from Bangladesh and Kenya. Your resistance gives us hope.
It is the responsibility of us revolutionaries to crown these uprisings and resistances with the rule of the working class and laborers, of the people, to overthrow this capitalist-imperialist system that offers no future aside from hunger-poverty, exploitation and war.
With these thoughts and feelings, we salute once again the resisting Kenyan people, workers, students and all those facing heavy attacks from the police.
Especially, we offer at this moment our solidarity with members and leadership of the Communist Party of Kenya who have been kidnapped by the state.
