They say that peace has been achieved in “Palestine,” in Gaza.
There is happiness in both camps.
Palestinians are glad to catch a breath, to secure a pause in the genocide or to stop the genocide. They are fighting death and starvation, and amid death and starvation, children emerge from the rubble of buildings waving red flags, walking toward death. All the peoples of the world who support them are rightly experiencing the joy of achieving a victory.
The other side is more complicated. Some people in Israel are happy at the possibility of ending this genocide, some are happy at the prospect of getting their captives’ bodies back. But the other side is not just Israel. Many countries around the world, Western countries, are happy in order to calm the reactions of their own people a little.
The Palestinian massacre, the genocide, is the work of the Western world, and the state of Israel has been used to carry it out. Germany, the US, France, Britain, and the entire Western world are involved in this genocide and are its organizers.
We can safely say that the Western world, the entire imperialist world, planned the Palestinian genocide.
We can say that the Palestinian resistance has caused an impact in their countries and made them fear the rising reactions in their own countries. The UK, Germany, France, and the US banned Palestinian flags, but no one obeyed the bans. The state authority no longer functioned at some point. Repression and arrests did not help. The streets of Berlin, Paris, Washington, and London have been filled with supporters of the Palestinian resistance.
The Palestinian genocide is a collective act of the entire West, and protests against it have emerged in all countries, including Western countries, and it has become an domestic issue for imperialist states.
Mahmoud Abbas, the West’s puppet and the Palestinian people’s co, has remained silent about this genocide. The Palestinian resistance has seen many traitors. While genocide was taking place in Gaza, Mahmoud Abbas stayed still and only issued condemnations.
This means that there is no united resistance in Palestine, but rather there is a collaborator.
So, will the Palestinian issue result in the formation of a state that becomes a new colony of imperialist the Western powers, or will the Palestinian resistance become part of the resistance across the entire region and take the path of the socialist revolution? That is the question.
The answer is clear.
It is difficult to achieve the obvious solution. But there is no path other than a socialist revolution, and when it is about the Palestinian issue, this can be achieved within a region-wide socialist revolution. This is what it looks like.
As soon as the USSR collapsed and socialism was defeated, the imperialist powers immediately turned to fighting a war of division among themselves. Some grabbed the unfinished business from World War I, while others took on the unfinished business from World War II.
Britain is following a path that is in line with the logic of “I have the mind, the US has the power.” It wants to get back the countries it handed over to the US in World War I, including Turkey. It is making plans to take back Palestine, Syria, Iraq, Turkey, etc.
Of course, the outcome is uncertain. But now, the five main imperialist powers—the US, Japan, Britain, Germany, and France—are at war, sometimes openly, sometimes secretly. For the moment, the war against Russia and China masks their own war. Their common goal is to defeat, colonize, and divide Russia and China. However, this common goal is difficult to achieve, and in this situation, it is appropriate for them to continue the war of partition with a certain degree of “ decency.” “Decency” refers to certain rules that exist between them; otherwise, it has no moral value whatsoever. Therefore, the frictions and wars between them are escalating, but within certain limitations.
The “peace” in Palestine is like this.
Britain desires Palestine. Perhaps it will be jointly owned with the US for a while, but in the end, it wants Palestine for itself. Gaza is important in this regard, and Trump says, “Gaza is mine.”
In this situation, “peace” actually means taking a break from genocide.
This time is not dependent on the Palestinian people. On the one hand, it is tied to the war plans that have surrounded the world, and on the other hand, it is tied to the partition plans of Western powers.
Now, peace makes it possible for Israel to concentrate on Lebanon, for example, instead of the Palestinian issue.
And, of course, there are also the plans for war on Iran. Those who demand the legitimacy of the US on behalf of TR state (the state of the Republic of Turkey), on behalf of the Palace Regime, will, of course, agree to act in the war on Iran in return.
The Palace Regime did not just hand over the mines and rare earth elements to Trump. The masters don’t even ask Erdogan for these things. If they did ask Erdogan, he would only want a 1% slice of the pie, that’s all. That would not bring any legitimacy. Legitimacy is for taking part in the Iran issue.
It is Israel that has destroyed Gaza. And the TR state will be activated to clean up Israel’s mess. This is a task distribution. Thus, when the war against Iran breaks out, when the button is pressed, Israel’s bombs and the TR’s military force will be put into action, and not a single voice will be heard from Palestine. This is what they are seeking. The endless Israeli-US-British attacks on Lebanon are not for nothing.
On the other hand, everyone must admit that, among all the deaths and destruction, the red flags raised by children show that the Palestinian resistance is not over and will not be over. Neither the Western imperialists led by the US and Britain nor collaborators like Mahmoud Abbas can wipe out the resistance.
This is a reality.
So, how will liberation and resistance achieve victory?
Of course, the Palestinian resistance will continue, and a thousand salutes to those who will carry it on. A thousand salutes to those who carry on the Kurdish revolution. A thousand salutes to all who carry on every resistance.
However, what is seen is this: borders are being crossed throughout the region.
Throughout the region, the dirty laundry of the collaborators who serve their imperialist masters are being aired.
In the whole region, the possibilities for a regional revolution are emerging from under the surface.
The most important countries in the region, due to the development of the working class, are Iran, Egypt, and Turkey. And in all three of these countries, there is revolutionary ferment.
If we are not talking about fantasy, if we are not limiting the revolution to a dream, then we must also say that we need instruments for the revolution. We are confronted by imperialist masters and the regional capitalist states that are their servants. And the truth is that their expertise in repression and cruelty goes back centuries. And of course, the revolutionary struggle against these forces must be waged with solid and advanced instruments.
The most advanced revolutionary instrument is the revolutionary organization.
We must be specific: the most advanced scientific weapon is Marxism.
Therefore, it is possible to foresee the opportunity for a socialist revolution, led by the working class, to spread across all countries in the region.
Of course, there is no path to liberation other than a socialist revolution that will spread throughout the entire region.
And no matter how difficult it may be, the socialist revolution that will be developed today has the potential to spread throughout the entire region and expand quickly. This is much more possible and much more realistic than it was yesterday.
The problem lies in the weakness of the revolutionary socialist organizations in the region.
This weakness can also be understood from the distrust between revolutionary organizations whose powers are very different from each other. The manipulation and agentization activities of the imperialist states that are intense in the region feed this distrust. This insecurity is understandable. Without such a practice, this insecurity cannot be overcome on its own. Therefore, the fundamental path is for the revolutionary movement in each part to organize its own path and action.
Moreover, there are revolutionary movements with different strengths in the region. And the movements in the region have even weaker ties to scientific socialism. The struggle against the existing system cannot be coherently waged with a religion-based ideology. A science-based struggle is a must, and this, of course, means Marxism. It would not be an exaggeration to say that organizations developed on the basis of Marxism are even weaker. But all these weaknesses do not change the scientific truth. Any movement that does not want to be an arm of the ongoing imperialist war of partition in the region must rely on science, on Marxism.
All these difficulties do not change the path to liberation.
Namely, one, no path to liberation can be found by leaning on any of the imperialist powers. This is a historically deep-rooted mistake in our region. It has been experienced many times, and the only barrier to its repetition is revolutionary organization based on Marxism. Second, the result of nationalist ideologies that have developed in our region in the name of anti-imperialism is to be tied to imperialism. This has also been tried. A coherent anti-imperialist struggle can only be carried out with the goal of socialist revolution, which is the basis for the overthrow of war and exploitation. Of course, we respect all forms of resistance and all anti-imperialist struggles. But the path that can be taken with an approach that does not aim to abolish capitalist relations of production and the bourgeois states is obvious. On this basis, a coherent fight against the capitalist system and the rule of capital cannot be fought with an Islamic or any other religious ideology. Third, every state in our region is a kind of colony (each a different kind). The bourgeois states of the colonial countries are, of course, under the control of their imperialist masters. Their overthrow is dependent on the defeat of the imperialist masters. And it is well known that the games of the imperialist masters and their local servants, the bourgeois states, never end. There is no costume they cannot wear. Hundreds of years of history shows this.
In this reality, the growth of a socialist revolution is, of course, the only solution.
Again, we know this is not easy. But at the same scale, we also know it is right.
Therefore, every revolutionary movement in our region must observe the revolutionary movements in other parts. Warmer relations with workers, laborers, and the people will further strengthen the basis for a socialist revolution. These relations are important, and so is a strong revolutionary organization.
Despite the reality of the entire region, it is possible to see the socialist revolution in the brewing in our region. As long as the socialist revolution remains on our horizon, it must be a goal that is integrated into our daily praxis.
