The attack of Hamas on 6-7 October emerged as a counter-attack against Israel’s endless aggression, the transformation of Gaza into an open prison, the genocide and massacres imposed on the Palestinian people. The reason is Israel’s policies and massacres, and in the process of its development there are traces of life in the reality of Gaza’s transformation into an open prison.
This means that even under the most difficult conditions, a way can be found to develop resistance against the sovereign and persecution. This has been confirmed once again. It would be a mistake to expect more from the action of Hamas. For no people can be independent or liberated without waging a socialist struggle on an anti-capitalist basis. In other words, liberation has an ideology, and this ideology cannot lead to victory and liberation within the confines of religion. In saying this, we do not mean to cast a shadow on the action of Hamas. Technically and in terms of willpower, it is an advanced action. But the liberation of the Palestinian people depends on the struggle and resistance that will rise on a socialist basis.
To approach Hamas’ action on the basis of “civilian casualties” is, at best, to fail to understand the situation at all and to present “Western values” as human values. First of all, as it is understood, Hamas has never carried out such acts as exposing the bodies of people, cutting the throats of children, etc. On the contrary, since it is an Islamic movement and has recently been organised by the CIA. On the contrary, since it is an Islamic movement, and since such acts of the CIA-controlled ISIS are still fresh in the memory, the Western press immediately launched a media campaign of lies, supported by a wide variety of images.

In reality, this means secretly and coyly supporting Israel’s policies of massacre. Yesterday, however, Israel was implementing the same policies against the PLO. The absence of an anti-capitalist programme that would enable Hamas to become the leader of social liberation does not eliminate its right to resist Israel. Fortunately, the Israeli press, the Israeli leftists, the sensible people of Israel, the Israeli communists are exposing this situation, so that it becomes possible for some to “think” about this imperialist policy.
As continuation of the war policies of the imperialist West, Israel’s attacks constitute a new situation.
The imperialist West, the US, NATO, England, Germany, France, Japan and others, all together declare that they do not recognise any human values in order to support the war situation that has arisen.
These Western powers, which have turned their massacres against the Ukrainian people into a war against Russia on the Ukrainian territory, have begun to reveal their racist faces. Neo-Nazis, as extensions of the state, are now taking off their masks. A Nazi war criminal is applauded in the Canadian parliament. While the West is judging Putin in war courts, in reality it is trying to hide the war crimes committed with its own support, with its own hands.
Now, far from concealing these war crimes, they have started to openly undertake them in the case of Israel’s attacks.
It would be appropriate to give a few examples. The US, England, Germany and the entire West, while supporting the war policy, have declared that Israel has the right to do anything. They have not hesitated to reject the ceasefire etc. proposals brought to the UN by Russia and other countries. Those who speak of the death of civilians openly advocate the massacre of “civilians” when they are Palestinians, without any hesitation. Shame has vanished. As the masters of the capitalist system remove their masks, their faces become more and more resembling Hitler’s. In the name of a people massacred at the hands of Hitler, the masters put Hitler’s methods and genocide policies into action.
Biden declared that the throats of 40 children were slit by Hamas. But this lie was soon denied by the US State Department itself. The British Prime Minister declared his “unconditional and complete” support for Israel. Germany, Japan, all made similar statements one after the other.
Starmer, the leader of the British Labour Party, did not hesitate to respond in a racist and pro-war manner to the following question. The question was what he thought about the words of the Israeli Defence Minister. The Israeli Defence Minister stated that Gaza would be under total siege and that “there will be no electricity, no food, no fuel, everything is closed. We are fighting animal people”. The leader of the British Labour Party, when asked about his views on this issue, said, “I think Israel has the right to do so”. He is both the leader of the Labour Party and a jurist, and he does not hold back from declaring that he is bound by international law, including the law of war. But he can say ” Israel has the right” to those who advocate this practice against a people.
It means that Israel has the right to commit all kinds of war crimes.
Just like they did in Ukraine.
Secretary of State for the Home Department demands that waving the Palestinian flag should be criminalised. Why; to prevent protests, to prevent their dark lies from being exposed.
Here is England, the “cradle of democracy”.
Germany, which is as eager as England to play a role in war policy and become a supporter of the United States, is following the same path. But in any case, Scholz was made to lie on the ground at the airport during his visit in support of Israel. This image demonstrates what Germany is willing to risk for its support for war policies, no matter what. Scholz said, “Hamas atrocities make one’s blood run cold… Israel has the right to defend itself against this terror and this right is guaranteed by international law.” Here is the situation where the masks are lowered. The West will soon declare it a crime to be a Palestinian. This is a programme for the extermination of a people, and in the face of the Palestinian people, the entire capitalist world has declared that it will impose its policies of massacre.
The issue is not only the Palestinian conflict. It is an attack against all resistances, against all freedom seeking. And this attack was clearly put forward as a common programme in the use of chemical weapons against the Kurdish people. The slaughter and massacre policies imposed on the Kurdish people are another type of genocide against the Palestinian people.
Eventually, on the morning of 18 October, everyone who woke up in their homes and turned on the TV channels learned that a hospital had been hit by an Israeli attack in the evening. And this was presented by Biden as “an explosion by the other team”. Videos are out there. But Biden takes this lie from Netanyahu and uses it to cover up the crime.
The West, which until recently banned Tolstoy and Dostoevsky and put up signs saying “Russians are not allowed in restaurants”, now applauds those who describe people as “animal creatures” because they are Palestinians. Here is “Western democracy”, “Western values”. When it comes to Russia, the liberal leftists, who are eager to swallow every lie thrown against them, and the literate people who pretend to be humanitarians, are welcome to swallow this morsel now.
Those who instigated a war to seal off, isolate and encircle Russia, to turn Russia into a colony, now seem to have found an opportunity to open a new front. Those who support the policies of tension in the Caucasus, the Balkans and Taiwan support the same policies in the Middle East.
This war against the Palestinian people is not being waged because of the actions of Hamas. On the contrary, Israel has already been carrying out these policies of massacre for decades. Today, Israel is implementing these policies in an even more violent manner. Israel, whose sky cage has been pierced, whose borders have been crossed by an attack from the open prison it has established, is now on the circuit to produce great violence with great fear. The cries that the maps of the Middle East will change are actually the continuation of the Greater Middle East Project (whose co-chairman is Erdoğan, we have not yet heard that he has resigned from this co-chairmanship). The war in Yemen at one end, the war in Syria at the other, the destruction of Iraq at one end, the NATO policies that are united on Kurdish massacres at the other end, and now the extermination programmes against the Palestinian people, the games in the Caucasus, are all directed towards this goal and are the product of the unification of the whole West on the war policies of the USA.
The imperialist war of partition carried out by Israel against all peoples is now in the preliminary days of a new stage. A people who were subjected to genocide has today, under the rule of the hegemon, created a structure that exterminates other peoples. This structure is in reality in the hands of the imperialist powers.
Not only Israel but all imperialist powers commit war crimes all over the world, not only in Palestine. The war against the Kurds is full of examples of these war crimes. And now Germany, the US, England, Canada, France, Japan, all of them are committing war crimes together. What we have seen so far is only the beginning of the war crimes that this imperialist Western barbarism will commit in the future.
Without stopping this war, without stopping this war of division, these policies of massacre and the annihilation of peoples will not end.
There is a way to stop war. The October Revolution stopped the First World War.
And the only thing that can stop the Third World War today is a new wave of socialist revolutions throughout the world, the victory of new socialist revolutions. The power to do this is the world working class. Today the world working class is faced with this historical task. It not only means preventing the devastation of war, but a revolution to put an end to the exploitation of human beings by human beings is the only way to ensure the permanence of peace on the face of the earth, the continuation of the human race and the planet.
